Firetech is truly a full service sprinkler contractor. We provide all services in- house, which we believe allows us to provide our customers with the highest quality through every aspect of the project. Our in-house services include estimating, design by our NICET certified designers, fabrication by our AWS certified welder, and installation and ongoing service by our certified and highly qualified technicians.

Additionally, Firetech does not just install your sprinkler system and walk away. We have staff that is dedicated to ongoing system inspection, testing and maintenance. We manage your service needs for you so you do not have to worry about them.

NFPA 25, the Standard for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems, provides the inspection requirements for system components. Inspections may be required weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Many customers decide to inspect their systems annually after discussions with their insurance carriers and local code officials. The State of Vermont requires inspection reports to be filed with the state at least once annually.

Firetech serves all of Vermont, Grafton and Coos counties in New Hampshire and Clinton, Essex, Franklin and St. Lawrence counties in New York.

TQP stands for “Technically Qualified Person”. In Vermont, sprinkler fitters must be certified by the state to install, inspect or service a sprinkler system. The TQP designation requires not only field experience but also the ability to pass a test that covers the NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24 and 25 codes. To maintain a TQP designation, a sprinkler fitter must complete 15 hours of continuing education every 3 years.

All of Firetech’s foreman and service technicians are certified TQP’s, so you can be assured that your project is being installed or serviced by a highly skilled and trained sprinkler technician.
