Milton, St. Albans and Swanton, VT
Firetech provided design/build services directly for Winters Hardware, the owner of three locally owned Ace Hardware stores. The three systems were designed in accordance with NFPA 13. The Milton project was new wood framed construction with a cold attic, so both wet and dry systems were installed. The St. Albans project was new construction and required a wet sprinkler system for the open steel structure. Memorial Ace Hardware in Swanton involved the adaptive reuse of a 1940’s masonry and steel truss gymnasium building into a 10,000 sq. ft. retail store with associated storage and office space.
